I'm Sakura. I'm originally from Ibaraki, Japan. Japanese is my native tongue.

I studied Early Childhood Education and I taught Japanese at a bilingual preschool in New York for 6 years.

​

For the last 6 years, I've been teaching Japanese online to children from preschool to high school age. I also do in-person workshops with children, such as Japanese cooking and crafting.

 

During the summer, I organize a summer camp in Japan to create opportunities for children of different backgrounds to interact and to enjoy Japanese language and culture.

 

Teaching is my passion and I enjoy every moment working with children.
